PROJECT SUMMARY
Your institution will send a group (please indicate how many students will participate in the mobility project) of full-time students/participants to the ELS school in Chieti, Italy.Participants will take part in a structured program of work experience, language learning and visits.This program is intended as a complete path to develop the skills needed to work successfully in a modern labour market, such as that of all European countries. The students will be accompanied by a number (to be agreed) members of your staff and the participants’ progress will be monitored by both your organization and ELS; the Europass credit system will be applied. All details of the project will be arranged though previous exchange of agreements and a preparatory visit of a number (to be agreed) members of your staff. ELS is an experienced partner in Leonardo projects. The project will be carefully evaluated and appropriately disseminated.

    GENERAL OBJECTIVES

    • to support participants in training and further training activities, in the acquisition and the use of knowledge, skills and qualifications to facilitate personal development, employability and participation in the European Labour Market
    • to promote improvements in quality and innovation of vocational education and training systems
    • to enhance the attractiveness of vocational education, training and mobility for both employers and individual workers and to facilitate the mobility of working trainees

     

    OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES

    • to improve the quality and to increase the volume of mobility throughout Europe of people involved in initial vocational education and training and in continuing training, so as to increase placements in enterprises to at least 100-160 per year by the end of the Lifelong Learning Program;
    • to improve the quality and to increase the cooperation between institutions or organizations that provide learning opportunities and enterprises, social partners and other relevant entities throughout Europe;
    • to facilitate the development of innovative practices in the field of vocational education and training other than at tertiary level, and their transfer, also from one participating country to the others;
    • to improve transparency and the recognition of qualifications and competences, including those acquired through non-formal and informal learning;
    • to encourage the learning of modern foreign languages;
    • to support the development of innovative ICT-based services, pedagogies and practice for life-long learning.
