LABORATORY ::: In the first step you will practice with our LAB. It is a language laboratory deviced to guarantee a natural approach to the study of the Italian language. With LAB, from the very first moment you will have a direct contact to the language, paving the way for a natural acquisition in the following steps. The language laboratory is made of a series of 12 LABs (Lab1, Lab2, Lab3 … Lab12) progressively deviced, so as to let you acquire a remarkable volume of basic terms and practice on complete sentences too.
Both LABs and LABs PLUS are composed of about 70 sounded tracks each: you will start practicing on single words in Italian, but soon you will challenge with complete sentences too. Each track will sound twice, so as to let you a correct listening. After this, you will have to repeat the track listened, recording your voice by clicking on a specific icon. Then you will listen both track, so as to compare your pronounciation with the correct one. Finally you will try to write down the track.
For each track you will visualize an image, so as to let directly you understand its meaning, with no need of explanations or other interferences.
A regular use of the LAB should lead to complete the whole step within an average period of 30 days. However, Language Naturally basic principle is to respect the individual timing of each learner.

Listen carefully to the track that the native speaker says twice.
As the RECORDING icon turns red, record with your own voice the word or sentence you have just heard, by imitating its sound.
Do not worry if your pronounciation is not perfect.
Compare your voice with the native speaker’s track. This way you will understand how and where you need to improve your pronounciation.
To conclude, type the word or sentence you have recorded and Check Your Spelling (it is very important to continue). Everything alright?
